Ior has been living in Ponyville for most of his life. He has over ten years of experience as a chef and currently owns and works at Javaddiction, a coffeeshop and a restaurant. As work takes up most of his time he doesn't get out very often. But when he does, he loves to socialize and make new friends. Ior is a positive stallion that loves to meet new people. He loves to make other people happy and does everything he can to do so. Due to his current work as a chef he doesn't get out very often anymore. But when he does, he socializes as much as he can. Even though he likes to meet new people he only considers a couple of people his 'real friends'.

Detailed History
Ior was born in the little village called Foalenze. When he at ten years of age discovered his passion for food he decided to move to Ponyville and go to cooking school. It would take him five years to graduate, but after only three and a half years he started to loose his passion for food. He struggled through the last one and a half years and when he graduated, five years later, he wanted something new. Something that could revive his passion for food. So he went looking for an empty house that he could rent. After a couple of weeks of searching he finally found the perfect house. It had a pre-installed restaurant kitchen and coffeebar, and that's when his passion finally came back. Only a couple of months later the house had hundreds of customers every day. A neon sign outside was lit from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day of the week, and on the sign, in glowing letters, it said, Javaddiction.
